How do you calculate cents per point (CPP)?
CPP = ((cash price − fees) ÷ points) × 100. We compare that to your floor value and then recommend using points or paying cash.
What floor value should I use?
A popular baseline is 1.25¢/pt (e.g., Chase Sapphire Preferred travel portal). If you value your points differently, enter that as your floor.
Does this work for hotels and flights?
